The year 2020 will most certainly be remembered for a long time. For TME, it was not only demanding, but also special, as it has crowned the 30 years of company’s business. TME’s humble beginnings at the turn of the 1980s and 1990s, a truly challenging period, were mainly focused on trading on various outdoor markets and car boot sale events, which were very popular in Poland then. It is worth mentioning that the international electronic components distribution tycoon had its first office in an ordinary caravan. A lot has changed since then, however. The company, founded by two brothers – an engineer and a medical student – is now an internationally recognised brand.
While creating and developing their business, TME’s founders have been driven by intuition, courage and openness. As different as they are from each other, Adam and Zbigniew Kuczyński have never been afraid to reach for new solutions, thanks to which today shipments from TME reach every corner of the world. Most importantly, however, despite the huge growth, the company has managed to maintain its character of a family business, where people – the customer and the employee – always come first.
