40-60A Reliable Non-isolated PoL Digital Regulators – KD12T Series

As communications equipment continuously becomes smaller, there is an increasing need for PoL power supplies to be miniaturized and to deliver high power. KD12T-40A & KD12T-60A are the small-size, high-current digital PoL DC/DC converters developed by MORNSUN. A single module can provide up to 60A output current, and two modules can be connected in parallel up to 120A. The output voltage is precisely adjustable in the range of 0.6-4.5V to meet a wide range of PoL power requirements.

Advantages

1. PMBus digital protocol

Output voltage is programmable via an external resistor divider or PMBus command, without additional peripheral components

2. Wide adjustable output voltage range

Output voltage range up to 0.6-4.5V, can be flexibly applied in power distributed systems, such as ASIC, FPGA, DSP, CPU/GPU, and RAM, etc.

3. Great performance

High output voltage deviation: ±2mV

Low output ripple and noise: 4mV

Fast load transient response: 18mV

4. Multiple protections

Input undervoltage protection

Output over/under voltage protections

Output over current, over temperature, short circuit protections

Applications

KD12T series products can be widely used in the fields of communications, computer network industries, and power distributed architecture, workstations, servers, LANs/WANs, providing high current with fast transient response for high-speed chips of FPGA, DSP, and ASIC.
