element14, an Avnet Community, is continuing its Summer of Sensors with a series of free educational webinars providing insights on the latest sensor offerings. The webinars will take place throughout August 2022 and will be presented along with Omega, ST, and Analog Devices.
“With sensing technology continually evolving, it can be challenging for our community of makers, designers and engineers to stay up to date on the latest offerings available,” said Dianne Kibbey, Global Head of Community and Social Media for element14. “We’re proud to partner with Omega, ST, and Analog Devices to share their expertise with our global community and educate them on the latest sensor technology capabilities.”
The series of three webinars will provide a range of insights, from how existing equipment outputs can be digitized with new sensors on the same platform to achieve Industry 4.0, to how new pressure sensors can be used to meet challenging industrial harsh environment needs and how the latest low-power sensors solutions are designed to extend battery life while still achieving accurate measurements.
The webinar schedule includes:
Transitioning to Industrial IoT with Existing Equipment and New Sensing Capability – August 3, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. ET / 9:00 a.m. PT
This webinar presented by Omega will go over how to achieve an Industry 4.0 facility, gain an understanding around edge monitoring and control, discover the mechanisms needed to deliver and maintain data, and suggest steps for everything from pilot evaluations to a full system installation.
Industrial Pressure Sensors for Air and Liquid Monitoring Applications– August 10, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. ET / 9:00 a.m. PT
This webinar presented by ST will cover the new pressure sensors designed to meet the challenging needs of harsh industrial environments. Following the presentation, there will be a short Q&A session where the five attendees that ask the best questions will each win an ST Pressure Sensor Evaluation Kit.
How to Design Low-Power Sensor Solutions and Interfaces – August 31, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. ET / 9:00 a.m. PT
This session presented by Analog Devices will review how design engineers can use the combination of analog front-end/signal conditioning and interface solutions to design low-power, high-precision and high-performance systems along with robust data communication.
Following each webinar, there will be a short quiz where participants will be able to test the knowledge they learned and earn a certificate.
