PHOENIX – Avnet’s FY23 sustainability report is available now and outlines the company’s current environmental, social and governance (ESG) objectives and initiatives, while highlighting progress in ESG areas important to the company’s business and stakeholders.
In addition, Avnet has received the EcoVadis Silver Medal for the second year in a row, placing the company in the top 25% of those taking the assessment (more than 125,000). The EcoVadis medals program recognizes eligible companies that have completed the assessment process and demonstrated a strong management system that addresses sustainability criteria, as outlined in the EcoVadis methodology.

- Upgraded GRI 2021 standards alignment
- Updated and restated emissions accounting

- Scope 3 materiality screening
- Expanded Scope 3 emissions accounting
The report is aligned with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards – core option. It is also indexed to Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) industry-specific standards.
