With the addition of the Decan S1, Semi-Kinetics now boasts a total of eight SMD placers from Hanwha Techwin, including three Decan S1 systems and five SM482s.
The Decan S1 is a next-generation chip mounter renowned for its exceptional performance and versatility. With the ability to accommodate PCBs up to 510 x 510mm (standard) / 1500 x 460mm (option), and produce PCBs up to 1,500mm(L) x 460mm(W) in size, the Decan S1 delivers optimal productivity for batch production while enhancing placement quality and reducing loss rates.
Featuring a placement speed of 47,000 Cph and an accuracy of ±28μm microns, the Decan S1 significantly improves the placement speed of odd-shape components by 25 percent. Its advanced system also enhances the simultaneous pick-up rate by automatically arranging pocket positions through seamless communication between the machine and feeder.
