HELUKABEL is a supplier of a wide range of cables, including heat- and cold-resistant cabling. This range includes solutions adapted for the most demanding industries, such as steel mills, cold stores, chemical processing plants, etc.
Below are four series of HELUKABEL-brand products available in TME offer. What they have in common is a wide thermal tolerance – but the range includes cables that use different technologies and materials. These are both single-core (installation) and multicore (control and power) cables.
HELUTHERM® 120
HELUTHERM® 120 is a multicore cabling adapted by HELUKABEL for applications in industrial machinery where resistance to a wide temperature range is required: from -30°C to 105°C. The series includes cables with copper conductors with cross sections from 0.5mm2 to 2.5mm2, housed in PVC insulation (color coding). Thanks to such materials, the products have self-extinguishing properties, and therefore do not spread flames. Most models include a separate protective conductor.
HELUTHERM® 145 MULTI
HELUTHERM® 145 MULTI cables are suitable for a wide range of applications: they can successfully serve both control and power applications. The polyolefins used in their construction result in good flexibility with resistance to a number of factors: UV radiation, ozone, tearing, stretching and oils. Moreover, in the event of a fire, they do not spread flames and do not emit toxic smoke. Thanks to these characteristics, HELUTHERM® 145 products will excel in demanding installations, such as cabling of lighting fixtures, traffic signals, heavy machinery, in industrial automation systems – especially when automated processes include thermal processing. In addition, the HELUTHERM® 145 MULTI range includes shielded cables, which protects the conducted signals from the effects of electromagnetic interference.
HELUTHERM® 400
The HELUTHERM® 400 series includes fiberglass insulated cables. Typically, such solutions are used in applications requiring resistance to very high temperatures (here: up to 400°C), in harnesses routed at heaters, combustion engines, soldering irons etc. With a choice of cross-sections up to 4mm2 , the products in the series will find use in both powering thermal components and conducting sensor signals. The excellent resistance, not only to temperature but also to chemicals and radiation, makes HELUTHERM® 400 cabling suitable for use in steel mills, steel plants, and even aviation, nuclear power plants or astronautics.
HELUFLON® FEP\N-6Y
HELUFLON® FEP-6Y cables use fluoropolymer (FEP), also known as Teflon, as the insulation material. As a result, this type of cabling is characterized by its ability to withstand both very low (-100°C), and high (up to 205°C) temperatures. Such characteristics allow their application in many industries, primarily chemical processing and refrigeration, but also automotive. The series includes both installation cables (single conductor) and multi-conductor wires (bundles of up to 7 conductors). Importantly: these products are characterized by their relatively small diameters and extremely low weight.
