Gmunden– RECOM launches cost-effective, 22W IP65-sealed LED driver with long service life
The RACV22-24SW is a constant voltage, AC input LED driver, designed specifically for trackside rail use. The rugged design, high input surge rating, comprehensive protection features, and IP65 environmental rating make it ideal for high reliability and long service life applications. These include powering sensors, control units, and in particular the low-level track lighting (nGgB) requirements of DB InfraGO AG.
The input is Class II rated, power factor-corrected 176-264VAC, and output is regulated 24VDC with a conversion efficiency of >87% at full 22W load, allowing operation from -30°C to +50°C ambient without derating. Full reinforced isolation meets requirements for ‘Lamp Control gear’ and ‘Luminaires’ and the product complies with rail EMC standards.
Dimensions are 294.0 x 76.0 x 40.0mm and connections are flying leads for AC input and Wago™ terminals for the output.
The expected service life of the RACV22-24SW is more than ten years, backed up by the standard RECOM 5-year warranty. Samples and pricing are available from authorized RECOM distributors or directly from RECOM.
