Vimal Soni: Corvi LED, founded in 2012, has firmly established itself as a leader in the LED industry, driven by an unwavering commitment to design, efficiency, and sustainability. We were the first to revolutionise the traditional bulb design, introducing energy-efficient solutions that challenge conventional aesthetics. Over the years, we have disrupted the market with ground breaking innovations that have garnered global recognition. With over 200 patents & Design registrations, we are proud to have exported our products to 24 countries across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Southeast Asia.
Our dedication to excellence has been recognized through numerous awards, including 13 German Red Dot & IF Design Awards, Japanese Good Design and American IDA design awards, clearly showing our relentless pursuit of exceptional design.
Recently, we secured $8 million in Series B funding from ENAM Investments, which will enable us to expand our product offerings and market presence. As we look to the future, we remain committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology to drive sustainable growth in the LED landscape.
Electronics Era: As a leading LED Manufacturing Company in India, how’s your company managing the quality (R&D) and after sales support to its customers where technology is changing at a rapid pace?
Vimal Soni: At Corvi LED, we prioritise quality through rigorous research and development (R&D) and robust after-sales support. Unlike many products in the industry that last only 1-2 years, our bulbs operate with a lifespan of up to 50 years, showcasing our commitment to superior quality. Our quality assurance and quality control processes involve extensive testing at every production stage to meet international standards.
We invest significantly in R&D to innovate continuously and adapt to the fast-paced technological landscape. Our dedicated after-sales support team is equipped to assist customers with inquiries and maintenance needs, offering warranty services and technical support. This unwavering commitment to quality and customer satisfaction has positioned us as a trusted name in the industry. Vimal Soni: The booming real estate market in India is driving a significant demand for LED lighting, characterised by trends in premiumization and sustainability. Consumers and developers are increasingly seeking high-quality, aesthetically pleasing LED solutions that enhance both residential and commercial spaces. This shift reflects a growing willingness to invest in superior lighting designs and smart technology.
Simultaneously, sustainability is a core focus. Developers are adopting energy-efficient LED lighting to minimise carbon footprints and operational costs. Many projects strive for green building certifications like LEED, appealing to environmentally conscious buyers.

Electronics Era: Please share your valuable insights on India’s trajectory to become a net LED exporter and the role of the PLI scheme in boosting domestic manufacturing?
Vimal Soni: India is on a promising path to becoming a net exporter of LED products, supported by a robust domestic market and pivotal government initiatives. The Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme has played a crucial role in enhancing domestic manufacturing by offering financial incentives that encourage companies to increase production and innovate.
This scheme boosts the competitiveness of Indian manufacturers globally, fostering an environment conducive to growth. At Corvi LED, we are actively contributing to this vision by investing in local R&D and expanding our production capabilities.
With these strategic efforts, India is well-positioned to strengthen its role in the global LED market while promoting sustainable growth in our industry. Electronics Era: According to you, what are the advancements in manufacturing and design of electronics products in India?
Vimal Soni: We see a strong focus on adopting Industry 4.0 technologies, such as automation and IoT, which significantly improve efficiency and reduce production costs. Investing in localised R&D is critical to driving innovation and developing products tailored to consumer needs. Additionally, there is an increasing emphasis on sustainable design practices, including minimising waste and utilising eco-friendly materials, to meet global standards.
Fostering collaboration between industry and academia will also accelerate the development of cutting-edge technologies and create a skilled workforce. By prioritising these advancements, India can position itself as a leader in the electronics sector, responding effectively to evolving consumer demands while contributing to a sustainable future.
Electronics Era: Recently Corvi had raised funding of $8 Million. Could you please shed some light on the company’s expansion plan?
Vimal Soni: With the recent round of funding, we at Corvi LED are embarking on a strategic expansion plan designed to enhance our brand presence and strengthen our distribution network. Our goal is to broaden our reach by establishing partnerships with more dealers and distributors, ensuring our innovative products are accessible to consumers nationwide.
A portion of this funding will be allocated to research and development, allowing us to accelerate the introduction of new lighting solutions that align with market demands. We also plan to expand our manufacturing capabilities to support increased production.
