Introduction

The energy storage market is growing, and the demand is increasing for more connectors and related products to meet customer needs.  In fact, the global battery energy storage system market is estimated to be valued at $7.8 billion (USD) in 2024 and is expected to be worth $25.6 billion (USD) by 2029, growing at a CAGR of 26.9%.  Key drivers for this growth are as follows: increased adoption of renewable energy sources, power grid investment, advancement in battery technology and supportive government policies.

Overview

Adam Tech’s ESF/ESM Series Energy Storage Connectors are the latest addition to our extensive product line and growing focus on the energy industry. These connectors provide a critical link between battery modules. This link ensures safe and reliable connections in energy storage systems, such as electric vehicle charging, renewable energy devices, and both industrial and consumer energy storage.

Empowering Energy Storage

Features and Benefits

These Energy Storage Connectors provide reliable and efficient energy transfers.  The series is composed of various mated pairs, offered in both orange and black.  They have a broad current range of 90A to 350A.  Voltage ratings range from 1000VDC to 1500VDC.  These connectors support various wire gauges, and are compatible with a variety of termination options, such as crimp, threaded hole, screw post, and busbar.  When mated, these parts have IP67 waterproof protection.  They also offer UL 94V-0 flammability protection for PA66 materials.  Compatible dust covers are available, providing additional protection.  These connectors are both UL recognized and RoHS/REACH compliant.  Note: Our Energy Storage Connectors are not intermateable with other supplier energy storage connectors.

Markets and Applications

Our energy storage connectors provide a critical link between battery modules to ensure safe and reliable connections.  Since these connectors support various voltage ratings, current ratings, and wire gauges, the product series is compatible with a wide range of markets and applications.  Energy storage systems, such as battery storage systems, would benefit from these connectors.  Also, these connectors can be appealing to the automotive space, such as electric vehicles.  Another target area would be for applications in the renewable energy space, such as solar array, wind energy, and hydropower.  They can additionally be used in industrial applications such as process control, automation, and heavy equipment.  Other application areas to consider for these connectors would be consumer electronics, data center, and rail.

Assembly Process

Our energy storage connectors can be assembled in various ways, including male head and female head, male and female connector heading, socket mounting method, and connecting to busbar.  Note: Custom cable assemblies are available upon request.

Conclusion

Overall, Adam Tech is committed to serving customer needs in various markets, such as the energy industry sector.  Our new Energy Storage Connectors are versatile with various features and benefits that can add value to a wide range of applications, both standard and customizable.  Contact Supreme Components International for technical and product support at pss@supremecomponents.com or call +91-99806-90969.
