Industrial Devices Division (INDD), a division of Panasonic Life Solutions India (PLSIND), a leading diversified technology company, showcased its comprehensive portfolio of cutting-edge components and solutions designed for diverse applications across Industrial, Automotive, Railways, Telecom, and Digital infrastructure (Data Center) sectors during the Electronica India 2025, one of the world’s largest electronics expos held in Bengaluru.

At the exhibition, Industrial Devices Division (INDD) introduced the new ASQD1 series of Seal Type Sliding Switches while showcased cutting-edge components such as DC Pumps and Polymer Capacitors for Data Center applications, Electro-mechanical & Passive Components for Automotive (ADAS, EV ecosystem) and Industrial (smart meters, railways, automation) use cases, PCB Laminate Materials for high-frequency PCB solutions, and Microwave Material – Magnetron for semiconductor etching processes. These solutions have been designed to cater to India’s evolving industrial and automotive industries, contributing significantly towards enhancing performance, safety and reliability. 

While inaugurating the Panasonic Industrial Devices Division (INDD) stall at the Electronica India 2025, Tadashi Chiba, MD and CEO, Panasonic Life Solutions India (PLSIND), said, “India’s electronics industry is entering a phase of accelerated transformation, with rapid growth across automotive, industrial, and digital infrastructure segments. At Panasonic, we are committed to enabling this transformation by bringing in advanced, reliable, and sustainable component solutions rooted in Japanese innovation and tailored to meeting India’s Make-in-India vision.”

Yoshitaka Teraoka, Executive Vice President, Panasonic Industry Co. Through our participation at Electronica, we aim to showcase innovations and technologies that empower our partners to drive efficiency, safety, and intelligence in applications ranging from AI and telecom to automotive and digital infrastructure.”

Whether it’s Polymer Capacitors for AI servers, high-frequency PCB laminate materials, or our new ASQD1 sliding switches, every solution reflects our commitment to elevating their (customer/OEMs) manufacturing capabilities, which in turn advances industrial proficiency within the ecosystem in the country.”

Introduces ASQD1 Series Seal Type Sliding Switches

Among the highlights, Panasonic Industry introduced the ASQD1 series of Seal Type Sliding Switches, a new state-of-the-art line of micro switches designed for enhanced reliability and efficiency across various applications. The IP67-rated ASQD1 series components benefit from two-step detection, redundant circuit design, and failure circuit detection, ensuring compact design, continuous operation, and enhanced functional safety. The vibration-resistant design with silent operation optimises space and reduces the need for multiple switches, streamlining assembly and terminal connections. Industrial Devices Division (INDD) is driving innovation through consulting, designing, and supplying a wide range of technologies and systems to various industries, including automotive, e-mobility, telecom, factory automation, infrastructure, manufacturing & logistics, and HVAC. INDD supports 3000+ businesses in India from five locations situated in Gurgaon, Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai, and Chennai.
