Danisense, the leader in high-accuracy current sense transducers for demanding applications, has recently joined the Current/OS Foundation, a nonprofit, open partnership dedicated to ensuring reliable and sustainable hybrid AC/DC power distribution in buildings and installations. The aim of the foundation is to promote direct current electrical safety and to enhance energy resilience to ensure reliable access to electricity for all.
Comments Loic Moreau, Sales & Marketing Director at Danisense: “At Danisense, we firmly believe that a swift and intelligent energy transition is possible through the wider adoption of DC microgrids, which are already proving superior to AC networks in several applications.” He continues: “High-precision current measurement plays a key role in defining reliable standards, and we are eager to share our expertise to this crucial area. Joining the Current/OS Foundation was a natural step for us to help shape the future of DC infrastructure.”
“We are very pleased to welcome Danisense as a new partner of the Current/OS Foundation and we are very much looking forward to working together with them in our regular working groups, plenary sessions and partner forums,” says Yannick Neyret, President of Current/OS Foundation. “With its highly specialized knowledge about high-precision current transducers and current sensing, Danisense is an ideal partner for the Current/OS Foundation and we are very happy that they joined us,” concludes Neyret.
