The new RECOM RACPRO1-S240 DIN-rail AC/DC power supply is affordably priced but packed with features, making it especially easy to integrate into industrial, building automation, energy, data communications, and infrastructure systems. Rated at 240W, this unit is only 39mm wide and can deliver a 150% power boost for five seconds, with 288W continuous power in environments held to 45°C. The output is adjustable, regulated 24VDC, and fully protected against shorts, over-current, over-voltage, and return voltages up to 50V, which may occur with inductive and motor loads. An integrated ORing diode allows multiple units to be parallel for n+1 redundancy or power-sharing applications.

Input voltage ranges from 85-277VAC or 88-370VDC without derating and includes inrush limiting and power factor correction. High efficiency, reaching up to 95%, supports a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +60°C without derating, while also ensuring long lifespan and high reliability. The RACPRO1-S240 is certified to international safety standards IEC/EN/UL 61010-1 and IEC/EN/UL/CSA 61010-2-201. It complies with EN-61000-6-4 Class B for EMC emissions in heavy industrial environments and EN 61000-6-2 for immunity. No-load consumption is typically 1W.

Installation of the module is tool-less on standard DIN mounting rails, and the 25° angled electrical connections are push-in for easy installation. A DCOK LED is provided along with volt-free relay contacts to indicate correct operation.

“We have packed a host of features into our new 240W DIN-rail AC/DC to make it truly compatible with a wide range of applications, while keeping cost and size down” comments Michael Peters, Business & Product Manager of RECOM.

The RACPRO1-S240 is manufactured in Europe and comes with a three-year warranty. Samples and OEM pricing are available from all authorized distributors or directly from RECOM.
