Shenzhen, China – March 4, 2026 – MYIR has launched the MYC-YM62LX System-on-Module (SoM) based on the Texas Instruments AM62Lx processor (AM62L32BOGHAANBR), alongside its development board, the MYD-YM62LX. Designed for industrial HMI, PLC controllers, charging piles, medical devices, motion controllers, IoT gateways, and more, the SOM delivers a low-power, cost-effective, and highly integrated solution to help customers accelerate time-to-market.

Compact Design with Rich Connectivity
The MYC-YM62LX measures just 43mm x 45mm and is powered by a dual-core Arm Cortex-A53 processor running at up to 1.25 GHz. It integrates 512MB DDR4 and 512MB NAND Flash, along with 4KB EEPROM. The SoM offers extensive I/O capabilities through a 164-pin LCC (castellated-hole) expansion interface, including:
* 1x MIPI-DSI
* 2x RGMII/RMII
* 3x CAN-FD
* 8x UART
* 5x I2C, 4x SPI
* GPMC bus
* 2x USB 2.0
* 2x SDIO
* 3x McASP, 3x ePWM, 3x eQEP, 3x eCAP
* 4-channel 10-bit ADC
* 1x MIPI-DSI
Note: the peripheral signals brought out to the expansion interface are listed in maximum number. Some signals are reused. Please refer to the processor datasheet and the SOM pinout description file.
Designed for harsh environments, the MYC-YM62LX operates across an industrial temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. With a minimum 10-year lifecycle, it ensures long-term availability and stability for industrial deployments. The module supports Linux 6.12 and comes with a complete software package including kernel source code and peripheral drivers, allowing developers to begin work immediately.
MYD-YM62LX Development Board for Rapid Prototyping
To streamline evaluation and development, MYIR also offers the MYD-YM62LX development board. It integrates the MYC-YM62LX core module and provides a rich set of interfaces, including dual Gigabit Ethernet, USB 2.0 Host/OTG, RS232, RS485, CAN, 4-channel ADC, onboard Wi-Fi/Bluetooth, MIPI-DSI display output, and audio I/O. An optional 10.1-inch LCD module (MY-MIPI101C-V2) is also available for GUI development.

Pricing and Availability
Samples of the MYC-YM62LX SoM and MYD-YM62LX Development Board are available now. The standard configuration includes 512MB DDR4 and 512MB NAND Flash, with customizable options for DDR4 memory and NAND Flash/eMMC storage available upon request. The SoM is priced at $36 per piece, with volume discounts available for production orders, offering a cost-effective solution for both prototyping and mass production.
Customization and OEM Services
MYIR also provides custom design and OEM services based on its existing SoM and development board platforms.
