The MF series from ROYALOHM are metalized resistors designed for applications requiring high parameter stability, precision, and long-term reliability. These components are used in analog, measurement, and amplification circuits, where signal quality and resistance to changing working conditions are crucial.

Thanks to refined manufacturing technology and a wide range of resistance values, the MF series resistors are a proven solution in both industrial projects and measuring equipment or consumer electronics with elevated requirements.

MF series resistors in TME

Stability and precision in demanding applications

MF series resistors are characterized by low self-noise levels and low voltage coefficient, which is particularly important in analog circuits and signal paths. These parameters help to limit distortions and maintain high repeatability of measurements even under changing working conditions.

Another advantage is the low temperature coefficient, which ensures stable resistance value over a wide temperature range. This makes these components ideal in environments where significant temperature fluctuations occur.

MF series resistors offer resistance ranging from 0.1Ω to 10MΩ.

Safety and overload resistance

For applications with elevated safety requirements, non-flammable (Non-Flame**) versions are available. The design of the MF series resistors has been designed to minimize the risk of damage in case of overloads, short circuits, or system failures. This solution is particularly important in industrial electronics, power supplies, and devices operating in continuous mode.

Resistance value coding is done according to the EIA color standard, which facilitates the identification of components during assembly and servicing.

Compact dimensions and wide tolerance range

The MF series offers a wide range of precision, while maintaining small housing dimensions. This allows these resistors to be used in circuits with a high density of components, without compromising electrical parameters.

What’s more, the manufacturer also envisages the possibility of implementing non-standard resistance values, which allows the component to be adapted to the specific requirements of the project.

Proven manufacturing technology

The resistor core is made of a metal resistive element made of nichrome alloy, which is characterized by high long-term stability and resistance to the influence of environmental factors. The resistive layer is vacuum-deposited, and then protected with a multi-layer epoxy coating.

This solution effectively protects the element from moisture, contamination, and the influence of atmospheric conditions, increasing its durability and reliability in the long term.
