Shanghai – At PCIM Europe 2026, NOVOSENSE Microelectronics is showcasing its latest low-voltage motor driver portfolio targeting industrial automation, smart appliances, and intelligent terminal applications. The new portfolio includes the NSD7305, NSD7308, NSD7309 H-bridge motor drivers, alongside the NSD5614 and NSD5624 smart low-side driver series.

As industrial automation and smart equipment continue evolving toward higher efficiency, lower EMI, and smarter system diagnostics, motor control systems increasingly require higher integration, enhanced protection, and simplified system design. NOVOSENSE’s latest motor driver solutions are designed to address these challenges with integrated diagnostics, configurable protection mechanisms, current sensing capability, and optimized EMI performance.

The NSD7305 and NSD7308 are 40V brushed DC motor drivers supporting both H-bridge and half-bridge configurations. The devices feature configurable output slew rate control and spread-spectrum clocking to help optimize EMI performance in motor drive systems. Integrated current mirror sensing eliminates the need for external sense resistors, helping simplify PCB design and reduce system cost. The devices also integrate protection and diagnostic functions including VM voltage monitoring, overcurrent protection, overtemperature protection, and open-load and short-circuit diagnostics. The NSD7305 supports up to 21A peak current with 47mΩ RDS(ON), while the NSD7308 supports up to 12A peak current with 84mΩ RDS(ON). Both devices support hardware and SPI interface versions and are designed as drop-in replacements for existing industry solutions.

For compact motor control applications, the NSD7309 integrates a single-channel H-bridge driver supporting up to 8A peak current and 120mΩ RDS(ON). The device supports PWM control, integrated current regulation, and comprehensive protection functions including undervoltage, overvoltage, overcurrent, and overtemperature protection. Typical applications include smart home devices, robotic appliances, electric curtains, massage chairs, and industrial control equipment.

For industrial PLC and factory automation systems, NOVOSENSE is also presenting the NSD5614 and NSD5624 four-channel smart low-side driver series. Supporting PWM and SPI control, the devices integrate comprehensive diagnostics including open-load and short-to-ground detection, while enabling channel parallel operation for higher current capability. The SPI daisy-chain capability helps significantly reduce digital isolation channel count in industrial control systems, simplifying system architecture and lowering BOM cost. The NSD5624 further supports up to 4A loading current per channel with low sleep-mode power consumption.

With its expanding motor driver portfolio, NOVOSENSE continues strengthening its platform-level capabilities in motor control applications, providing scalable and highly integrated solutions for industrial automation and smart appliance markets.
