New Delhi — ST Foundation is proud to announce its recognition at the 7th Edition Bharat CSR & Sustainability Summit and Awards 2026, organized by The Brainalytics at Pride Plaza Hotel, New Delhi, in the category “Corporate Category – Best CSR Initiative for Digital Equity and Inclusion.”
This recognition highlights our long-standing commitment to bridging the digital divide in India through our Digital Unify Program, a volunteer-driven initiative focused on digital literacy, educational access, and community empowerment.

Established in 2001, ST Foundation is the non-profit corporate entity of STMicroelectronics, a global high-tech company creating semiconductor technologies for a smarter, greener, and more sustainable future. The Foundation works to develop, coordinate, and sponsor projects that use modern science and technology to promote human progress. Through partnerships with non-profit organizations around the world, we deliver programs that build local skills, expand opportunities, and foster sustainable development.
In India, the Digital Unify Program plays a central role in advancing digital inclusion, particularly among underserved communities where access to technology and digital education remains limited. The program is designed to address local needs through accessible, practical, and inclusive learning interventions. Working closely with NGOs, community organizations, and local stakeholders, we ensure that every initiative is relevant, culturally appropriate, and sustainable. To do so, we provide free devices, internet access, training and structured programs to improve digital literacy and create accessible and inclusive digital content.
“A key strength of ST Foundation’s model is its Train-the-Trainer approach” said Kamal Deep Jain, Country Manager at ST Foundation India. “By training local educators and community facilitators, we create a multiplier effect that expands program reach, strengthens local ownership, and builds long-term capacity within communities. This direct-engagement model is supported by the commitment of current and retired STMicroelectronics volunteers, whose contribution forms the heart of the Foundation’s work”.
ST Foundation’s educational framework in India is built around two complementary pillars:
- Digital skills training, focused on foundational competencies such as computer basics, internet use, and digital safety
- Digital empowerment initiatives, which extend learning into community engagement, responsible technology use, and support for vulnerable groups
Through targeted projects such as Introduction to Computer Basics (ICB), Tablet for Kids, ICB for Visually Impaired People, and Tablet for Seniors, we continue to ensure inclusive access to digital learning for children, youth, adults, seniors, and persons with disabilities.
