RFOptic Appoints Three Executive Directors

RFOptic, a leading provider of RF over Fiber (RFoF) and Optical Delay Line (ODL) solutions, announced today that it is bolstering its Leadership Team to lead and support its expanding activities worldwide.

For more than a decade, RFOptic sales have grown substantially on an annual basis. To support its expanding presence in several strategic geographical markets and industry sectors, the Company has decided to strengthen its leadership team with three key appointments.

  • Mr. Omer Sabuncu has joined RFOptic Inc. as its Director of Sales & BD North America. With more than 20 years of executive experience in the telecommunications industry, Mr. Sabuncu brings extensive expertise across the 5G/6G testing and EW/Radar/Satcom defense markets in the Americas. He served in various senior positions at Siemens, Alcatel-Lucent, Spirent (Dax Tech), Radcom, and iconectiv (Ericsson). As an active member of the RCA Competitive Carrier Association, he has introduced new solutions to its members to boost their business. As the CEO of SummitCSC, Mr. Sabuncu has brought RFOptic’s solutions to industry leaders in the Aerospace and Defense sectors, as well as research laboratories. 
  • Mr. Oz Abramson has been appointed as RFOptic’s Active Director Marketing. In his new role, Mr Abramson will be responsible for RFOptic’s global marketing. Mr. Abramson is an accomplished entrepreneur and a veteran in the defense & telecommunications industries with a proven track record in business development, marketing, and sales. He is also one of the founders of RFOptic and has been a driving force since the Company’s inception.
  • Mr. Moshe Carmel has been appointment as RFOptic’s Director of Global Sales & Business Development. Mr. Carmel has over 25 years of experience in executive sales, marketing, and business development at various companies, including as the Executive Vice President, Sales at Wisair and as the Vice President, Carriers Sales at Alvarion Technologies.

“The appointments of these three industry veterans will drive our growth in the coming years,” remarked Mr. Avner Sharon, RFOptic’s CEO & CTO. “Omer will expand our market presence and sales in the Americas, Moshe will go on generating sales and developing new business opportunities in APAC and EMEA, and Oz will focus on boosting our global marketing. All three executives have years of experience with RFOptic as a company and in-depth knowledge of the Company’s products, solutions, and applications. We are excited to explore new business opportunities together.”
