Bengaluru, India: Aimtron Electronics Limited, a leading Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) company, has won the First Prize in the Excellence in Manufacturing (SME) category at the ELCINA Defennovation Awards 2026 for its Integrated UAV Electronics Development and Automated Test Solution project. . The ELCINA Defennovation Award is an important recognition for Aimtron as it validates the company’s growing capabilities in design-led manufacturing for high-reliability defence and aerospace applications.
The project was selected following a rigorous multi-stage evaluation by the ELCINA Award Committee, comprising experts from the defence, aerospace, and electronics sectors. It was recognised for its innovation in electronics manufacturing, automated testing, and system-level validation, helping improve manufacturing efficiency, product reliability, and faster qualification cycles while supporting India’s vision of self-reliance in defence manufacturing under the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative.
It recognizes Aimtron’s capabilities in designing, manufacturing, integrating, validating, and testing high-reliability electronic systems for defence UAV platforms.  It further strengthens Aimtron’s credentials with defence and aerospace OEMs and supports its strategic direction of moving up the value chain from electronics manufacturing to integrated design, engineering, testing and system-level solutions.
