The company purchased the building in 2025, reinforcing its long-term commitment to the metro Phoenix area, where Avnet has maintained a significant presence for nearly three decades.
Avnet’s deep roots in Arizona extend beyond its headquarters. The company is committed to associations and partnerships that support business growth throughout the Valley, including the Arizona Technology Council and Arizona Commerce Authority. Through partnerships with organizations such as the Arizona Diamondbacks and Arizona Cardinals, as well as community initiatives led by Avnet Cares, the company continues to invest in the region where many of its employees live and work. Avnet has already deepened its commitment to the Tempe community, recently funding Tempe Community Action Network and donating guitars during a leadership event.
Avnet’s presence in the Phoenix area dates back to 1979. In addition to its new Tempe headquarters, the company operates a distribution center and integration facility in Chandler, supporting customers and supplier partners throughout the Americas. Today, more than 1,200 employees work across Avnet’s metro Phoenix locations.
The new headquarters represents the next chapter in Avnet’s history and reflects the company’s confidence in the region’s talent, business environment, and growing technology ecosystem.
