Bengaluru – Syrma SGS Technology and Elemaster Group, leading players in electronics manufacturing and design ecosystem respectively in India and Europe, through their joint venture Syrma SGS Elemaster Private Limited today inaugurated the new state-of-the-art high-reliability electronics manufacturing facility in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
The inauguration marks a significant milestone in the joint venture’s efforts to build advanced electronics manufacturing capabilities in India and support customers across domestic and global markets, particularly in sectors where quality, reliability and stringent manufacturing standards are critical.
The launch was attended by Dr. Giandomenico Milano, Consul General of Italy in Bengaluru, along with leadership teams from Syrma SGS and Elemaster, customers and other key stakeholders. His presence at the inauguration underscored the growing importance of India–Italy industrial and technology collaboration and the strategic relevance of the partnership between the two companies.
Located in the Bommasandra Industrial Area, the 20,000 sq. ft. facility is equipped with advanced Surface Mount Technology (SMT), Through-Hole Technology (THT) and box-build assembly lines. The facility has been established to address the growing demand for high-reliability electronics across sectors including railways and transportation, industrial electronics, energy and medical electronics, while enabling the joint venture to support global OEMs with high-quality manufacturing in India.
The joint venture brings together the complementary strengths of Syrma SGS and Elemaster. Syrma SGS contributes its scaled manufacturing capabilities, established supply-chain ecosystem and cost-efficient execution in India, while Elemaster brings decades of expertise in electronic design and manufacturing, engineering capabilities and strong relationships with European and global OEMs. Together, the companies aim to create a competitive platform for high-reliability electronics manufacturing and expand opportunities for global customers from India.

The inauguration programme featured institutional addresses and a dedicated address on the joint venture plant by Valentina Cogliati, CEO, Elemaster Group, followed by a tree plantation ceremony, the official unveiling of the facility and guided visits of the plant and shop floor.
The new facility marks another step in the evolution of India’s electronics manufacturing ecosystem, particularly in high-reliability applications where engineering expertise, process control, quality and stringent manufacturing standards are essential. It is expected to provide the joint venture with a platform to serve both domestic and international customers and support the growing integration of India into global electronics supply chains.
The Syrma SGS Elemaster partnership also reinforces the broader India–Italy industrial relationship by bringing together complementary capabilities from the two countries. With the new facility, the joint venture aims to build an integrated platform spanning engineering, manufacturing and high-reliability electronics, while creating globally competitive, Made-in-India solutions for customers across critical end-markets.
