SOUTH BEND, IN – Microscreen, a U.S. manufacturer specializing in high-precision SMT solder stencils and custom tooling solutions, will head to the SMTA Long Island Expo & Tech Forum on Thursday, Oct. 1, 2026 at the Marriott Melville Long Island with two things that are new for customers in the region: custom tooling and local technical support.
Microscreen is proud to offer custom tooling for screen printing, SMT assembly and reflow, conformal coating, soldering, routing, inspection, test, press fit and more. The tooling is engineered and manufactured by AGI Corporation and available through the new Microscreen AGI Alliance (MAA).
“Tooling is new for Microscreen, but the experience behind it isn’t,” said Steve Thomas, President of Microscreen. “AGI has been designing and manufacturing tooling for many years. For our customers, it means they can now come to us for their stencils, screens, advanced nanocoatings and tooling, with an experienced engineering and manufacturing team behind each product.”
The Long Island Expo also gives Microscreen a chance to connect with customers in a region where the company now has a local manufacturing presence. Microscreen recently opened an 8,000-sq.-ft. facility in Oxford, Connecticut, giving Northeast customers closer access to its stencil manufacturing and technical support. The facility manufactures SMT stencils with a 24-hour turnaround and puts customers from Maine to Philadelphia within one-day ground shipping range.
In addition to tooling and its expanded Northeast manufacturing capabilities, Microscreen will be available to discuss SMT stencils, MicroGlide nanocoatings, chemically etched stencils, metal and polyester screens, stencil design and other printing requirements.
