Mumbai, India – Matrix has been conferred with the FIST Awards 2026 in the category – Product of the Year Access Control (Vehicle and Pedestrian) – organised by the Fire and Security Association of India (FSAI). The recognition was presented at the awards ceremony held at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai.

For Matrix, the recognition represents the outcome of practices developed and strengthened consistently over the years. At the core of these practices is complete ownership of the technology and product lifecycle—from research and engineering to manufacturing, testing, deployment and long-term support.

Matrix approaches physical security as a connected operational environment rather than a collection of independent products. Its video surveillance, access control, time-attendance and communication technologies are developed to work together, helping organisations strengthen visibility, coordinate responses and maintain greater control across their operations.

This approach begins with understanding the risks and operational realities of each environment. Instead of applying a standard configuration to every requirement, Matrix works with customers and partners to design solutions around the scale, complexity and security priorities of the deployment. Insights from the field are continually incorporated into product and system development, keeping the solutions relevant to evolving security challenges.

Integration is supported by Matrix’s ownership of the underlying technology. With hardware, software and system intelligence developed within a unified engineering environment, Matrix can strengthen interoperability, cybersecurity and performance across the complete solution. This enables different security functions to operate as one cohesive system while retaining the flexibility to integrate with existing infrastructure and third-party platforms.

Reliability is treated as an essential part of security. Matrix solutions undergo structured validation for real-world operating conditions, while feedback from deployments is carried back into engineering, product management and support. This continuous loop helps ensure that solutions remain dependable not only during implementation, but throughout their operational lifecycle.

Commenting on the recognition, Ganesh Jivani, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Matrix, said:

“Effective security depends on how well technologies work together when they are needed most. At Matrix, our focus has always been on building integrated systems that help organisations detect risks, respond with clarity and operate with confidence. This recognition reflects the commitment of our teams, partners and customers who continue to shape solutions around real security and operational challenges.”

The recognition at the Fire & Integrated Security Technology Awards 2026 reinforces Matrix’s commitment to advancing integrated physical security through purposeful engineering, dependable technology and a clear understanding of real-world applications. It acknowledges an approach built not around isolated features, but around creating cohesive security environments that deliver lasting operational value.
