Munich – Panasonic Industry will once again participate in the renowned Anwenderforum Relaistechnik, during Power of Electronics 2026 conference at the Vogel Convention Center (VCC) in Würzburg. Bringing together developers, manufacturers, researchers and industry experts from across the DACH region, the event has established itself as one of the most important platforms for knowledge exchange and innovation in relay technology and power electronics.

As in previous years, Panasonic Industry will contribute both technical expertise and practical application knowledge through specialist presentations and an exhibition presence. Visitors can expect insights into the latest developments in relay technology, semiconductor switching solutions and future-oriented applications driven by the ongoing electrification of industry, mobility and energy systems.

Relay fundamentals from component to application

One of Panasonic Industry’s technical contributions will be presented by Christoph Oehler, Head of Technical Collaboration Services in the Department of Innovation & Collaboration. Together with relay expert and long-standing industry colleague Jürgen Steinhäuser, he will guide attendees through the world of elementary relays and their fundamental operating principles. The presentation will provide a comprehensive introduction to relay technology, covering key electromechanical concepts, design considerations and practical application aspects.

Hybrid switching concepts for the electrification of tomorrow

A second technical highlight will be delivered by Dr. Dieter Volm, Head of New Business Development at Panasonic Industry Europe. Known for combining profound technical expertise with a strong application-oriented perspective, Dr. Volm will address emerging switching technologies that support the growing electrification of industrial and energy infrastructures.

His presentation will explore the evolution of MOSFET-based switching technologies and hybrid switching concepts.

Discovering the future of switching technologies

Alongside the conference program, Panasonic Industry experts from Product Management will be available throughout the exhibition to discuss the company’s latest innovations in relay technology. Under the umbrella of its current “Switch Your Smart” campaign, Panasonic Industry will showcase advanced Power Relay, Safety Relay and MOSFET solutions designed to support next-generation smart applications. The displayed portfolio addresses a wide range of requirements, from industrial automation and energy management systems to EV charging infrastructure and intelligent power distribution.

Visitors will have the opportunity to discuss application-specific challenges directly with Panasonic Industry specialists and learn how modern switching technologies can contribute to greater efficiency, safety and reliability in increasingly connected systems. In addition to its product portfolio, Panasonic Industry will also present the latest expansion of its laboratory facilities in Ottobrunn, Germany. The enhanced laboratory infrastructure now offers comprehensive material and electronics analysis. From failure and reliability investigations to detailed material characterization and performance testing, the lab provides valuable engineering support for both customers and external partners seeking deeper technical insights into their applications and components.
