Aimtron International Controls LLC (AIC), has recorded its highest-ever quarterly order bookings

Mumbai – Aimtron Electronics Limited, an Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) and Original Design Manufacturing (ODM) company, announced that its U.S. subsidiary, Aimtron International Controls LLC (AIC), has recorded its highest-ever quarterly order bookings of US$11.8 million during the current quarter of the current financial year.

AIC which was earlier operating as ICS has an operating history spanning more than 25 years. So far, it has recorded average quarterly order bookings of less than US$4 million. With its acquisition by Aimtron in February this year, current-quarter bookings have surpassed US$11.8 million, more than twice the historical quarterly average. AIC also added five new customers during the quarter, further expanding its customer base.

The strong order intake since the transition reflects the continued strength of the acquired business’s customer relationships and capabilities, alongside Aimtron’s broader engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, and customer-development resources.

The order bookings were driven primarily by ruggedised electronics programmes for applications operating in demanding environments, reinforcing AIC’s positioning in high-reliability electronics manufacturing.

The U.S. business forms an important part of Aimtron’s Aimtron 2.0 growth strategy, which includes building an integrated India–USA manufacturing platform. The model is aimed at combining Aimtron’s engineering and manufacturing capabilities across both markets while enabling closer customer engagement and local manufacturing support for U.S. customers.

Mukesh Vasani, Chairman, Aimtron Electronics Limited, said, “ICS has built strong customer relationships and manufacturing capabilities over more than 25 years, and our focus since the acquisition has been to build on that foundation while creating new avenues for growth. The US$11.8 million in order bookings this quarter, along with the addition of five new customers, reflects the progress we are beginning to see as we combine AIC’s local strengths with Aimtron’s broader engineering, sourcing and manufacturing capabilities. Our priority now is to translate this momentum into consistent execution, deepen our relationships with customers and expand the range of programmes we support. Strengthening our US operations is an important part of Aimtron 2.0 and our larger ambition to build an integrated India-US manufacturing platform capable of supporting customers across the product lifecycle.”

Aimtron is focused on strengthening these capabilities through the Group’s broader engineering, sourcing, manufacturing and customer-development resources, while continuing to build the US business around its existing strengths. The development also supports Aimtron 2.0, the Group’s broader growth vision, which includes building an integrated India-US manufacturing platform. Strengthening the US business is an important part of this strategy, enabling closer customer engagement and local manufacturing while drawing on Aimtron’s engineering and manufacturing capabilities across geographies.
