  • Sleeker bezels offer a cleaner and more premium look for modern meeting spaces
  • Three-step installation makes RoomBook suitable for both greenfield and brownfield projects
  • Supports integration with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace & ICal
  • Both the RoomBook application and hardware are developed in India, supporting a locally developed meeting room management solution

New Delhi – Panasonic Life Solutions India has introduced its new Made-in-India RoomBook range, bringing enhanced visibility, a sleeker design, and improved value to smart meeting room management. The next-generation range builds on the earlier RoomBook proposition with product enhancements designed to make room status information clearer, faster to read and easier to manage.

A key enhancement in the new range is the move from the previous monochrome display to four-colour visibility, with red and yellow added alongside black and white. The additional colours give organisations greater flexibility to customise how room status and scheduling information is displayed, enabling templates tailored to their own requirements, such as colour-coding availability or highlighting priority bookings. This makes room information more intuitive to read at a glance, including from a distance.

The RoomBook range uses E-ink-based panel technology, which enables clear and easy-to-read room information while supporting low-power operation. The technology is a core component of the RoomBook experience and differentiates the solution from conventional digital displays used for meeting room management.

The new RoomBook range also features sleeker bezels, giving the devices a cleaner and more premium appearance when installed outside meeting rooms. The compact design and wireless installation allows organisation to deploy the devices across different meeting spaces without extensive wiring requirements. With an easy three-step installation process, the devices are designed to support both greenfield and brownfield projects, making deployment easier across existing as well as new workplace environments. Alongside these enhancements, the RoomBook range supports integration with Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace and iCal, allowing organisations to connect their existing calendar environments with the meeting room management solution.

Bhavya Jain, Business Chief – India & SAARC, Professional Displays, Projectors & Broadcast Solutions,, Panasonic Life Solutions India

, said: “Modern workplaces require meeting room management solutions that are intelligent, intuitive and easy to integrate into everyday operations. The new RoomBook range brings together smart scheduling, real-time room availability, intuitive visual indicators and a sleek, wire-free design to simplify how organisations manage their meeting spaces. By enabling employees to find, book and manage rooms more efficiently, RoomBook can help organisations optimise space utilisation, minimise avoidable resource consumption and support more responsible workplace operations. As a 100% Made-in-India solution backed by Panasonic’s global technology expertise, RoomBook reflects our commitment to delivering scalable workplace solutions that enhance productivity while supporting organisations in building more efficient and sustainable work environments.”

Clearer room status briefly

RoomBook connects with an organisation’s calendar system and displays the current meeting, next booking, room availability and schedule directly at the meeting room. The four-colour visibility — black, white, red and yellow — is designed to make this information easier to interpret, allowing employees to identify room status quickly without having to navigate through multiple displays or systems.

The E-ink-based panel technology provides clear visibility of room information, while its low-power characteristics support the long battery autonomy of the devices.

Designed for modern meeting spaces

The new RoomBook range features sleeker bezels that provide a cleaner and more integrated appearance when installed outside meeting rooms. The compact design and wireless installation allow organisations to deploy the devices across different meeting spaces without extensive wiring requirements.

The range is available in two display sizes:

ModelDisplayIntended Use
RoomBook 77.5-inch, 5:3 anti-glare displayIndividual room availability and calendar syncing
RoomBook 1111.6-inch, 3:2 anti-glare displayLarger room usability and wayfinding

The RoomBook 7 is designed for individual meeting rooms and workspaces where clear room-level visibility is required. The RoomBook 11, with its larger display, is suited for larger rooms and wayfinding applications, including boardrooms, lobbies and hallways.

Easy integration and deployment

RoomBook supports integration with Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace and iCal, enabling organisations to connect their existing calendar environments and manage meeting room availability through a familiar ecosystem. The devices are designed with a simple three-step installation process, making them suitable for both greenfield and brownfield projects. This enables organisations to deploy RoomBook across new office environments as well as existing workplaces with minimal installation complexity.

Existing Panasonic Portal enables centralised management

RoomBook continues to be supported through the Panasonic Portal, Panasonic’s existing platform for managing meeting rooms, devices and bookings. Organisations can connect their existing calendar system, add meeting rooms and pair RoomBook devices through the platform. Once connected, the system retrieves meeting information from the calendar and displays room availability at the meeting room. The centralised management capability supports organisations in managing multiple meeting rooms and devices while enabling scalable deployment and simplified administration.

Made in India for evolving workplace needs

The new RoomBook range has been developed in India, with both the RoomBook application and hardware developed locally. The Made-in-India solution combines enhancements in colour visibility, design, E-ink-based technology, battery performance, integration capabilities and ease of deployment. The solution is designed for a range of modern work environments, including corporate and government offices, educational institutions, training centres and co-working spaces. By providing clear and immediate visibility of room availability, RoomBook helps organisations make better use of meeting spaces and create a more organised workplace experience.

With its enhanced four-colour visibility, E-ink-based panel technology, sleeker design, broad calendar integration and easy installation, the new RoomBook range represents the next step in Panasonic’s approach to simplifying meeting room management for modern workplaces.
