Tricog Strengthens Global Partnerships with Sanofi and OMRON Healthcare to Advance Cardiac Innovation in India

Having reached over 40 million patients, the Bengaluru-based healthcare technology company is strengthening its international relationships as it looks to make early diagnosis and continuous cardiac care accessible to more people worldwide.

India: An ECG can be recorded in minutes. But in most parts of the world, getting an ECG interpreted by a specialist and ensuring patients receive the right care in time remains a challenge that drives the global cardiovascular deaths of over 20 million people annually.

That was the problem Tricog Health set out to solve when it began its journey in 2014. Twelve years later, the Bengaluru-based company has grown from a remote cardiac diagnostics provider into a cardiovascular AI business with a presence across international markets. Its solutions have now reached more than 40 million patients, and the company estimates that its work has helped save over a million lives.

Today, Tricog is looking to take that work further, supported by growing relationships with two established names in global healthcare: France’s Sanofi and Japan’s OMRON Healthcare.

For Tricog, these associations reflect a growing recognition that some of healthcare’s most persistent problems, particularly in countries where specialist care is hard to access, will require organisations with different capabilities to collaborate to enable timely diagnosis and treatment for cardiovascular patients across the Global South.

The company’s relationship with Sanofi took a significant step forward in September 2026, when the two organisations entered into a three-year strategic collaboration as part of the India-France Year of Innovation. Emerging from the Bharat Innovates initiative, the association creates opportunities for international market access and exploring future investment and business partnerships.

Sanofi’s global healthcare experience and Tricog’s track record of developing and deploying cardiac technologies offer a strong foundation for taking Indian innovation to healthcare systems worldwide.

Tricog’s association with OMRON Healthcare, meanwhile, has been taking shape over several years, spanning strategic investment, product development and connected cardiac care.

Known globally for its blood pressure monitoring technologies, OMRON has been working towards its ambitious Going for ZERO vision, aimed at reducing cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events through better prevention, monitoring and timely intervention.

It is an ambition that closely aligns with Tricog’s own work.

Together, the companies have been developing ways to connect cardiac diagnosis with what happens afterwards. Through KeeboHealth, Tricog’s remote patient monitoring platform, patients can be monitored at home using connected devices, while clinicians receive information that can help them recognise changes in a patient’s condition and make timely decisions.

Their collaboration has also extended to Tricog CardioCheck, which uses AI to assess cardiac risk from single-lead ECG recordings, opening up possibilities for simpler and more accessible screening.

The larger opportunity lies in connecting these individual capabilities. Detecting a cardiac problem is important, but so is ensuring that patients receive appropriate follow-up care, particularly those living with chronic cardiovascular conditions.

These developments come at a time when the need for accessible cardiovascular care has rarely been greater. Heart disease remains the leading cause of death worldwide, yet access to timely diagnosis and treatment continues to be uneven. The challenge is particularly acute across parts of Asia, Africa and other emerging markets, where specialist availability and healthcare infrastructure remain limited.

Tricog has spent much of its journey working in precisely these environments.

In May 2026, research published in JAMA Cardiology from a project in Kenya, undertaken with the Kenya Cardiac Society and other partners, added to the evidence supporting AI-enabled cardiac screening. The study examined how a routine ECG, analysed using artificial intelligence, could help identify patients at risk of having a weakened heart pump, a condition that would ordinarily require echocardiography to assess.

For healthcare systems where advanced cardiac investigations are not readily available, such approaches could help identify patients who need further evaluation.

It is also an example of the kind of practical, affordable innovation that Tricog hopes to take into more markets.

Having established its presence in India and parts of Africa and Southeast Asia, the company is now looking at additional geographies while expanding its work in remote monitoring, preventive cardiovascular care, and AI-powered risk assessment.

“When we started Tricog, we were trying to solve a very specific problem. A patient could have an ECG, but if no one was available to interpret it in time, the delay could change the outcome. We have spent twelve years building technology and clinical systems to address that gap.

Today, our ambitions are much larger. We want to identify cardiac risks earlier across the spectrum, support patients even after they leave the hospital, and make quality cardiac care available in places where it has traditionally been difficult to deliver. Having organisations like Sanofi and OMRON Healthcare associated with our journey gives us access to experience, capabilities and opportunities that can help us move faster. It is encouraging to see global healthcare leaders recognise the potential of what we have built in India.” Dr Charit Bhograj, CEO & Founder, Tricog shared.

For Tricog, the road ahead is as much about building on what already works as it is about developing something new. The company continues to expand its diagnostic network, develop AI-based tools, and explore ways to bring cardiac care closer to patients through connected technologies.

Its stated ambition is to make quality cardiac care accessible to 100 million people by 2030.

There is still considerable work to be done to reach that goal. But with more than a decade of experience behind it and relationships with established global healthcare companies continuing to develop, Tricog is approaching the next stage of its journey with a stronger foundation.

What began as an effort to get an ECG interpreted in time is gradually becoming something much broader: an attempt to make cardiovascular care more accessible, from the first signs of risk to the years of care that may follow.
