ASC International will showcase the LineMaster Fusion 3D RS (Rapid Scan) with high-speed, high-accuracy Linear Shaft Motor technology from Nippon Pulse in Booth #827 at the 2023 IPC APEX EXPO. The event is scheduled to take place Jan. 24-26, 2023 at the San Diego Convention Center in California.
The LineMaster Fusion 3D RS (Rapid Scan) system from ASC International utilizes high-speed, high-accuracy Linear Shaft Motor technology from Nippon Pulse. The machine has a fully integrated motion control system from Nippon Pulse, including the motors, drives and motion controllers. Linear Shaft Motors have zero cogging, and the closed-loop servos in the Rapid Scan system are controlled by Nippon Pulse’s new COMMANDER core 4-axis motion controller.
Rapid Scan boasts coordinated motion, and the system monitors Edge analytics 100 percent of the time for predictive maintenance – thus meeting the new Industry 4.0 standards for AI. This collaboration enables ASC International to anticipate future expansion as faster scanning systems are developed. The lack of mechanical drive components (ball screws, lead screws, belts) means that fast, quiet motion can be achieved with higher accuracy and repeatability, with zero maintenance and a longer lifespan.
The LineMaster Fusion 3D provides sophisticated 3D solder paste measurement coupled with an intuitive user interface and Windows® 10 OS.
