JBC Tools – soldering equipment for demanding customers
JBC Tools has been on the market since 1929. Today, the company is a global supplier of soldering equipment, which is used in the servicing of electronic equipment in manufacturing plants, technical universities and laboratories, and in prototyping centres.
JBC Tools products are designed to meet the most demanding user needs. The solutions used allow the soldering process to be fully optimised. The tips with integrated thermocouple and heater have a high temperature stability, which makes it possible to lower the soldering temperature by at least 50°C. A lower temperature not only improves the quality of soldering and desoldering, but also extends the life of the tips. Thanks to the sleep and hibernation features you can extend the life of the tips. Compared to the competition, JBC soldering stations take just two seconds to reach 350° C, saving the operator time. The ergonomic shape of the soldering handle makes it possible to carry out work with high precision. A wide selection of tips in various sizes and shapes is available. Their replacement is carried out quickly and conveniently without the need to turn off the station.
New JBC Tools products available at TME
New products recently added to TME offer include two soldering stations from the JBC-CDE series, two wire stripper stations from the JBC-WS series, and DPM-B dispenser.
JBC-CDE-2BQA and JBC-CDE-2SQA soldering stations
JBC-CDE-2BQA is a soldering station for general purposes, while the JBC-CDE-2SQA is a precision soldering station. The two stations have different soldering irons. In the case of the JBC-CDE-2BQA it is JBC-T245-A, and in the case of the JBC-CDE-2SQA it is JBC-T210-A. Each of them comes with dedicated tips.

Both stations are equipped with Soldering Assistant, the first system of its kind to continuously measure the energy delivered during the soldering process. By analysing the data, the system will help to choose the right temperature and tip and to obtain greater efficiency and quality of the process. It is useful for less experienced operators. Other common features include: sleep and hibernation functions, blocking the change of station parameters with a PIN code, USB type B socket (communication with a computer and software update), lead and lead-free operation, the option to program the station’s standby and hibernation times, and the option to program an individual standby temperature.

JBC-WSB-2A to high temperature wire stripper station for general purposes, while JBC-WSS-2A is the precision wire stripper station. For this reason, they are differentiated by hot pliers that handle wires of different diameters. Common features of both products:
- for stripping wire insulations made of thermostable materials (teflon, silicone, rubber, kapton and many others),
- predefined power levels for each type of material,
- customised operating mode,
- sleep (temperature drop to 180°C) and hibernation (after a pre-set time) modes, whose settings can be edited,
the devices can be controlled by the JBC Open Manager software after connecting them to a computer via USB: recording temperature gradients, software updates.

The product allows precise dispensing of solder paste in hard-to-reach places. JBC-DPM-B is suitable for hot air soldering of multi-pin SMD components as well as THT components. The dispenser is compatible with a wide range of needles and tips and can use 3ml and 5ml syringes. When ordering the DPM-B dispenser kit, please note that it does not include the needle and solder paste. – These must be purchased separately.
