Wisbech – Anglia Components has won STMicroelectronics’ (ST) distribution award for Top Sales & Customer Excellence Recognition. The award citation praised Anglia’s consistent approach and the strong relationship between the teams at ST and Anglia which ensure enduringly high service levels for both largest and smallest customers alike.

As well as its customer discovery initiatives which contributed to the ST award, Anglia has also focused on its logistics activities. The most noteworthy example of this is the Anglia Live e-commerce platform. This has been successfully servicing the UK and Ireland market for over 10 years, and was extended to cover the EU 18 months ago. Anglia Live offers a one- or two-day delivery service for European customers, with parts shipped Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) from Anglia’s UK distribution centre through FedEx’s Paris hub. Competitive pricing in multiple currencies is offered, coupled with ex-stock availability across a wide inventory of semiconductor, passive and electromechanical products. Orders placed up to 17:00 CET Monday to Thursday and 12:30 CET on Friday are despatched the same day. There is no minimum order value, and delivery is free for orders over €50/$60. Recently, the company also introduced a loyalty scheme which offers 90-day terms and rewards worth up to £2,500.
