Chennai, Tamil Nadu – The highly anticipated trade shows for automotive components, auto parts, accessories, vehicle maintenance & care, wheels, alloys, lubricants and allied products, the Auto Components Show & Auto Aftermarket Show successfully concluded in Chennai. The twin trade shows took place from 11-13 July and brought together the entire value chain of stakeholders from across the South Asian markets, with notable overseas participation from Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, Malaysia, and various other markets.

About 11,243 trade visitors witnessed the solutions showcased by 265 Exhibitors over three business days. In addition to the products on display, the expo also featured a series of knowledge forums including the Auto Leadership Conference, CEO Roundtable and Open House Sessions which became one of the key attractions of the shows. The event also welcomed delegations from Sri Lanka and Malaysia, further expanding its global footprint and relevance.

Mr. Anuj Mathur, Managing Director of Future Market Events shares his delight: “We received an overwhelming response from the automotive industry and the result has been nothing short of exceptional. Launching the Auto Components Show in India’s fastest-growing automotive region was a strategic step, and the enthusiasm we witnessed over all three days was truly energizing. Visitors were not limited to the region but from all over the country and abroad. We thank our strategic partners, APMA, SLACMA, ARAI, SAE India and other notable bodies for their incredible support.”

Mr. A. Gopalakrishnan, President of Tamil Nadu Automobile and Allied Industries Federation (TAAIF) shares: “The Auto Components Show has emerged as a landmark platform for South India’s automotive ecosystem. It offers exceptional value for manufacturers, dealers, and professionals to network, collaborate, and stay ahead of market trends.”

Mr. Rajeev Chandrakumar, Secretary of Sri Lanka Components Manufacturers Association (SLACMA), remarked: “We are honored to be part of this forward-looking event. It offered valuable opportunities for cross-border collaboration, trade partnerships, and learning. We look forward to returning in 2026.”

Auto Leadership Conference & CEO Roundtable

One of the key attractions of the event were the Auto Leadership Conference and CEO Roundtable, which brought together top leadership from the automotive industry to discuss key strategies driving innovation, future mobility, EV transformation, and ecosystem collaboration. The power-packed conference program with 50+ distinguished speakers from leading automotive brands such as Mahindra, Ather Energy, Ashok Leyland, Lumax, Zenfinity, and many others. The sessions addressed critical topics including electric vehicle growth, smart manufacturing, digital supply chains, green technologies, and aftermarket evolution—drawing an enthusiastic and knowledgeable audience.

Association-Led Open House Sessions

Further adding value to the show were open house sessions conducted by prominent industry bodies and skills councils such as Automotive Skills Development Council (ASDC), Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI), Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation, Society of Automotive Engineers India (SAE India) and many others. These interactive sessions offered insights into industry standards, workforce development, testing protocols, and future talent needs, fostering deep engagement between stakeholders, trainers, and government bodies.

Strong Industry Participation from TAAIF & Global Delegations

Tamil Nadu Automobile & Allied Industries Federation (TAAIF) played a key role by bringing its buyer delegation and also hosting its official Members Meet on the second day of the fairs, with representation from over 28 affiliated regional associations.

After a highly successful inaugural edition in 2025, the Auto Components Show is set to make a grand return for its 2nd edition in 2026. “We will be back in Chennai again next year presenting a 2x times bigger exhibition with even larger domestic and global participation from across South Asia.” Concluded Mr. Mathur.
