element14 Contributes to Better Learning Environments in Karnataka Schools Through Infrastructure and Resource Support

Bengaluru, India : element14, a fast and reliable distributor of products and technologies for electronic and industrial system design, maintenance, and repair, is supporting education and holistic development in Karnataka. The company has enhanced the infrastructure of Government Higher Primary Schools in the villages of Brahmasandra and Kestur, located in the Tumakuru district, by providing essential learning resources and facilities. Additionally, it has sponsored transportation facilities for specially abled students at VSDES School in Vijayapura district.

This initiative aims to bridge the digital divide and improve the overall learning experience for students by equipping the schools with critical academic tools, classroom infrastructure, and sports facilities.

Key Highlights of the Initiative:

  • Modern Computer Lab: Installation of 11 desktop computers, a projector, a printer, and a speaker system to promote digital literacy.
  • Transport Facility: A school vehicle – a TATA Winger BS6to support inclusive education by making daily commutes safer and more accessible for students with mobility challenges
  • Classroom Upgrades: Provision of 10 desks, 05 round tables, 30 chairs, 02 teacher workstations, and storage units to create an organized and engaging learning environment.
  • Hands-On Learning Support: Distribution of a Science Kit to encourage practical learning and exploration.
  • Access to Clean Drinking Water: Installation of an RO water filter for safe and hygienic drinking water.
  • Encouraging Physical Activity: Provision of a Sports Kit to support teamwork and physical well-being among students.

The element14 GIS team played a crucial role in managing the procurement and installation of the necessary equipment and ensuring smooth execution of the project.

“This generous contribution by element14 is a step forward in ensuring accessible education for all,” said Prashant S Deshpande, Headmaster of VSDES School. “The new school van will help many of our specially abled students attend school regularly and with dignity. We are truly grateful for this support that addresses a crucial need in our community.”

It’s not just about the technology, it’s about giving them the chance to explore, learn, and grow in ways they couldn’t before. Efforts that bring these resources into schools help open up new possibilities for the kids and the community.”

From introducing smart classrooms and improving sanitation to ensuring access to safe drinking water, these efforts have addressed essential needs and positively impacted the learning environments of over 4000 students. This initiative underscores the company’s dedication to fostering educational growth and contributing to community development, helping prepare students for a brighter future.
