PowerWalker, a leading German energy management brand, is making its Asia debut for the latest uninterruptible power system (UPS) solutions at COMPUTEX 2024 to help AI development, including the VFI TAP PF1 3/3 and VFI LICR IoT, following their European debut at Data Centre World Frankfurt this May.

PowerWalker participates in COMPUTEX 2024 with the BenQ Qisda Group, showcasing intelligent industry solutions at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Hall, Hall 1, 4F, from June 4 to June 7, Booth No. L0118, to create a smarter and more sustainable future.

In response to the escalating demand for energy in artificial intelligence (AI) servers and the rapid expansion of Internet of Things (IoT) applications, PowerWalker’s new UPS systems offer increased power, enhanced reliability, and intelligent monitoring capabilities. These innovations aim to cater to the evolving needs of various industries while promoting the advancement of AI and IoT technologies worldwide.

The VFI TAP PF1 and VFI LICR IoT UPS address the challenges enterprises face in maintaining stable power supplies for their IT infrastructure, especially amid the surge in cloud-based data transmission. PowerWalker’s solutions offer space-saving designs that meet enterprise installation requirements, alongside reduced Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) through reliable power backup.

VFI TAP PF1: Superior Efficiency and Robust Design
The PowerWalker VFI TAP PF1 UPS boasts up to 96% efficiency in online mode and an impressive 99% efficiency in ECO mode, thanks to its advanced IGBT PWM control technology. With an output power factor of 1, it supports high-capacity output and incorporates optimum battery management (OBM) technology, extending battery life by up to 50%. The system’s paralleling technology eliminates the risk of system shutdown due to a single point of failure, while its Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) of less than 30 minutes ensures minimal downtime.

VFI LICR IoT: Enhanced IoT Connectivity and Environmental Sustainability
The PowerWalker VFI LICR IoT UPS revolutionizes backup power solutions with its lithium-iron battery and seamless internet connectivity. Unlike traditional lead-acid batteries, its lithium-iron battery boasts an extended lifespan and lower self-discharge rate, allowing for more charging and discharging cycles. This not only benefits the environment but also translates to a lower total cost of ownership. With a maximum output power factor of 1, the VFI LICR IoT supports a larger output capacity and can be equipped with up to four external batteries (EBMs) for extended backup time.

Moreover, the VFI LICR IoT features cloud-based data transfer and monitoring capabilities. Through its built-in LAN port, built-in BMS system, data can easily connect to the Internet of Things via the Microsoft Azure cloud system enabling customers to monitor their uninterruptible power supply system through a mobile app at any time. Real-time notifications of the system’s operating status ensure safer and more efficient operation through proactive maintenance measures.

Both UPS systems feature high-density, space-saving designs with multi-language support
The PowerWalker VFI TAP PF1 UPS offers rated power loads ranging from 20kVA to 80kVA. With its high-density space design, it delivers higher power while occupying less IT space, enhancing installation flexibility and power density for infrastructure needs. Compared to similar products on the market, the PowerWalker VFI TAP PF1 reduces size by up to 50%. Additionally, it features a 5-inch color touchscreen LCD operator panel supporting 8 languages, and two intelligence slots, providing a user-friendly interface.

Also joining the lineup is the PowerWalker VFI LICR IoT UPS, catering to rated power loads from 1kVA to 10kVA. Its low-profile design, with a maximum height of 9 centimeters, enables flexible placement in various spaces. The LCD operator panel supports up to 10 languages for effortless installation and service.

Expanding Reach from Europe to Asia
PowerWalker’s commitment to providing reliable and cost-efficient solutions for all power management applications extends worldwide. In addition to the VFI TAP PF1 3/3 and VFI LICR IoT, the company will also showcase the Portable Power Station and VFI ICRE IoT, offering versatile energy solutions for diverse applications.

PowerWalker, with over 20 years of expertise in the UPS industry, continues to expand its business footprint, now serving customers across Europe, the Middle East, Africa (EMEA), and Asia. With its focus on delivering reliable and efficient energy management solutions, PowerWalker remains at the forefront of technological innovation.
