Bangalore – R&M, the globally active Swiss developer and provider of high-end infrastructure solutions for data and communications networks, is presenting its innovative portfolio of solutions for fiber optic broadband and mobile communication infrastructures, cabling and connectivity at the FTTH Conference 2025 in Amsterdam. R&M is a gold sponsor of the leading European conference and will be exhibiting at booth G13. The FTTH Conference 2025 will take place from March 25 to 27 at RAI Amsterdam. Experts from R&M are available for expert discussions with visitors and the media.

The latest products from R&M include the splice closures of the SYNO-S series. This means that service and infrastructure providers can now expand their FTTH and data center interconnect networks more quickly with ribbon fiber splicing technology and with a capacity of up to 3,456 fibers per closure. Thanks to modular gel block sealing elements, the SYNO-S splice closures can also be expanded with new fiber optic cables during ongoing operations. This allows operators to retrofit or densify their networks at any time. The SYNO-S splice closures from R&M are suitable for use directly in the ground or in shafts. They pass the IP68 criteria (5 m water / 7 days) and are certified in accordance with both ICE and the Telcordia® GR-771 standard.

Also on show – the ZOONA splice closure family with its innovative, mechanically sealed QIKseal cable entries, which can be assembled without tools. The modular design of the ZOONA closure bases allows a range of cable diameters as well as splice, patch and pre-terminated external plug connections to be combined.

The VARIOline systems for backbone, trunk and campus cabling are a further highlight. These customer-specific configurable loose tube cable systems are now available in three categories and with a choice of single or multimode fibers – each optimized for use under different ambient conditions.
Outdoor connectors for fast mounting
The two HEC connector families for extreme outdoor applications will also be on display at the R&M booth. For the HEC connector, R&M relies on quick mounting technology either with a «lockable» quarter-turn fastener (HEC-BR) or with a Quick Release mechanism as a push-pull solution (HEC-QR). Typical applications include fiber optic cables on masts for mobile communications and aerial deployment, temporary cabling for events as well as in mining and industrial areas. In addition, the company will be presenting the CONEXIO family for the fiber optic connection of 5G mobile communication sites as well as the LUNAR box family for FTTH Precon and small cell applications.
