Pickering Interfaces will showcase its range of industry-standard modular signal switching and sensor simulation solutions for aerospace electronic test and verification, including HIL (hardware-in-the-loop) simulation, on stand 622 at the Aerospace Test & Development Show, taking place from September 30 to October 1 at MEETT Exhibition & Convention Centre, Toulouse, France.

The Aerospace Test & Development Show is a focused event for engineers working on the testing and validation of aerospace systems and components. Covering areas like structural testing, propulsion systems, avionics, and environmental simulation, the show highlights the latest tools and techniques for ensuring performance, reliability, and safety in aerospace applications. The 2025 event will host over 140 exhibiting companies showcasing their aerospace testing solutions, and a conference with over 45+ papers from some of the leading brands in the sector.

“Our modular switching and simulation solutions are designed to address the unique challenges of aerospace and defense testing, including Hardware-in-the-Loop applications, managing mixed signals, ensuring long-term system reliability, and supporting high-density configurations,” said Steve Edwards, Head of Product Management at Pickering. “Our systems are built on well-established open industry standards, ensuring long-term availability, reducing development time, and accelerating time-to-market. By leveraging open standards like PXI and LXI, we help engineers create scalable, precise, and future-proof test systems for mission-critical applications.”

Pickering will showcase their sensor simulation for HIL engine demo on stand 622 at the Aerospace Test & Development Show in Toulouse. The demo includes the following Pickering products:

  • 8-slot Gen3 PXIe modular chassis (42-924), featuring an intelligent chassis management system that monitors the power supply voltage, internal temperature and cooling fan speed, containing a range of Pickering PXI modules:
  • PXIe embedded controller (43-920)
  • PXI programmable power supply (41-740)
  • PXI LVDT with resolver functionality (41-670)
  • PXI function generator (41-620)
  • Also in the demo is an NI PXIe digitizer

In addition to its HIL demo, the company will also highlight the following signal switching and sensor simulation products:

  • 6-slot LXI/USB modular chassis (60-106-002), fully compliant with LXI standard 1.4, which allows 3U PXI switching & simulation modules to be controlled via USB or in an Ethernet LXI environment, containing a range of PXI modules –
    • High-speed resolver simulator module (41-670) – can achieve rotation speeds of 130kRPM for advanced servo system testing
    • High-density digital input module with dual programmable thresholds (40-414)
    • High-performance microwave multiplexer (40-784)
    • Power relay module (40-161)

Supporting cables and connectors, as well as high-quality reed relays from our relay division, Pickering Electronics, will also be on show. Pickering Interfaces stands behind its manufactured products with a standard three-year warranty and guaranteed long-term product support.
