Anritsu Corporation is pleased to announce that Zhejiang Sunnyverse Technology Co., Ltd., a developer of XR devices, has selected Anritsu products for the evaluation of the wireless LAN (WLAN) and Bluetooth® technology RF TRx performance of their devices.
The Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), etc., collectively known as Extended Reality (XR) devices market is set to experience rapid growth as these devices are expected to be used in many different fields, including the entertainment industry. XR devices require fast data transfer speeds and low latency of the video data to provide the user with an enjoyable experience. Therefore, Sunnyverse was looking for a test solution to evaluate the RF TRx performance of the WLAN and Bluetooth technologies that affect data transfer of their XR devices. Sunnyverse ultimately selected Anritsu’s Wireless Connectivity Test Set (WLAN Tester) MT8862A and Bluetooth Test Set MT8852B. These products reduce the time required for RF TRx performance measurements by allowing the setting of concise parameters, thereby reducing a product’s time to market.
In addition to using WLAN and Bluetooth technologies for communication, XR devices will also use 5G communication, which offers the advantages of low latency and high bandwidth. Anritsu will provide WLAN, Bluetooth technology, and 5G test solutions for the XR market to help expand the use of XR devices.
