The Pervasive AI Developer Contest is an initiative by AMD to encourage and empower developers to create AI-driven innovations using AMD’s cutting-edge technology. The contest is now live on Hackster.io*. AMD has lined up three stimulating categories for this challenge: Generative AI, Robotics AI, and PC AI.
There are up to 700 total pieces of free development hardware and cloud instances available from AMD in this year’s contest. Each category has a specific amount of hardware allocated:
- Generative AI: up to 300 MI210 Cloud Instances or Radeon PRO W7900 GPUs
- Robotics AI: up to 200pcs KR260 Robotics Starter Kit
- PC AI: up to 200pcs Ryzen AI Powered PC
The challenge offers $160,000 in total prizes! Each category is fueled with a top prize of $10,000 USD. In addition to the main categories, AMD is offering a special award of $2,500 USD for the best project submitted by a university student, and also has a “Women in Technology” award with the same cash prize, encouraging teams with a majority of female members to participate and showcase their talents.
