PHOENIX – Hackster, an Avnet community, has launched the “Boss Battle in the AI Arena” challenge in collaboration with Infineon, inviting developers worldwide to create innovative Edge AI projects using PSOC™ Edge technologies. The competition builds on the successful PSOC™ Edge City learning program, where participants developed practical skills in designing and deploying AI-powered applications.
In the challenge, participants will compete against the Infineon engineering team by developing projects that demonstrate creativity, technical expertise and real-world problem-solving using the PSOC™ Edge E84 AI Kit and DEEPCRAFT™ Studio.
“Boss Battle in the AI Arena gives developers an opportunity to put their new skills into practice and demonstrate what’s possible with Edge AI,” said Dianne Kibbey, Senior Director, Community Strategy and Hackster.io at Avnet. “We’re excited to see how participants apply their creativity and technical expertise to solve problems and bring new ideas to life.”
Inspired by the cyberpunk world of PSOC™ Edge City, participants are challenged to create futuristic AI-powered applications ranging from intelligent sensing and robotics to connected devices and smart infrastructure.
Hackster and Infineon will award thousands of dollars in prizes to the top three qualifying projects. Participants will also gain visibility through Hackster.io and Infineon’s developer ecosystem while showcasing how Edge AI can address real-world challenges.
