The DT-9800 is a precision particle counter that can simultaneously measure up to 6 channels of particle sizes – 0.3μm, 0.5μm, 1.0μm, 2.5μm, 5, 0μm, and 10μm. Counting efficiency for particles > 0.45 μm is 100%. The counter additionally enables temperature measurement in the range from 0°C to 50°C and relative humidity measurement (0 … 100%). The counter also offers a dew point and wet bulb temperature calculation.

The device is equipped with a readable, 2.8 inch TFT LCD colour display and a lithium-ion battery that allows operation without an external power source. Up to 5000 records (date and time of counting, humidity, temperature, sample volume, and location label) can be stored in the 74MB internal memory. For additional identification of the air quality measurement location, it is possible to take a photo (JPEG) or record a video (3GP) using the built-in camera with a resolution of 320×240 pixels. SD card reader allows you to expand the storage capacity and increase the amount of recorded data. The included software  (for PCs) enables easy data analysis and generation of measurement reports.
