Harwin has announced the winners of its annual Distributor of the Year Award, with Korean connector specialist distributor K2 taking both APAC categories. The company was announced as Distributor of the Year, and its K2 Korea Changwon Branch Leader Min Hong Gi, took home the 5-Star Award, which highlights an exceptional individual and their direct contribution to Harwin’s success.
The Distributor of the Year Award is based on an analysis of six KPIs, including sales growth, bookings and billings, new designs and the ease of doing business with the distributor.
In awarding the prize, Mike Tiong, General Manager of Harwin Asia, highlighted K2’s “exclusive focus on the connector market, which makes it an invaluable partner for operating in the region.” Mike also highlighted our Distributor K2’s performance in terms of sales and billing, and the continuously strengthening relationships that have been built over the time that Harwin had been working with K2.
In giving the 5-Star Award, Harwin highlighted Min Hong Gi’s exceptional contribution and the growth that he had personally enabled in driving sales in Korea, with Mike saying he had “an encyclopedic understanding of our customers in the region and we’re delighted to be working with him.”
