XMOS voice processors separate speech from background noise and loudspeaker echo, helping a device capture the voice it needs to hear. Meet the Reachy Mini robot with Astute Group at electronica 2026 and explore the audio processing behind its voice interface.
Reachy Mini’s Seeed Studio reSpeaker audio system uses the XMOS VocalFusion XVF3800 to capture speech while managing noise and the robot’s own playback. That is the audio front end: the signal other software uses for recognition and interaction.
It is an engineering challenge that reaches well beyond robotics. A television must pick up a request while a programme is playing. A conferencing device needs to capture people around a table. A voice-controlled appliance may have to hear its user across a room. XMOS technology creates a clearer path between the person speaking and the person or system listening.

Reachy Mini’s demonstration brings those audio questions into a conversation you can have with Astute’s experts. Tell us where your product will operate, what noise it will face and how people will speak to it. We can help you explore a suitable approach.
XMOS is part of the wider range of technology on Astute’s stand at Messe München, 10–13 November. Visit Hall C5, Stand 421, to meet Reachy Mini and discuss your next voice-enabled design. Book a meeting, or drop in for the demonstration and a coffee with the team.
