AEDEX + AIRPORT EXPO 2026, held during 10, 11 & 12 September 2026 at Yashobhoomi, IICC, Dwarka, New Delhi, brought the aerospace, defence and civil aviation industries together on one platform for three days. The event highlighted India’s evolving industrial landscape and provided an opportunity for businesses, technology providers, manufacturers, investors and decision-makers to explore emerging opportunities, forge partnerships and build the next generation of India’s aerospace, defence and aviation ecosystem.
The event was inaugurated by our esteemed Chief Guest – Vishwajit Saha, Secretary (Defence Finance), Ministry of Defence, Government of India; alongside our Guest of Honour – Tejpal Singh, Air Marshal PVSM, AVSM, VM, Dy. Chief of the Air Staff, Indian Air Force; Ravi K. Chairman & Managing Director, Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. among eminent dignitaries, namely, Dr. VK Saraswat, Former Member Niti Aayog & DG DRDO.
227 Exhibitors participated from PSU’s, OEM’s State Pavilions, Country Pavilions, MSME’s etc attracting 9,145 Footfalls, and delegations from 18 Countries.

The Event had Special visit by Chris Cooter, High Commissioner, High Commission of Canada and a large number of foreign delegations from Canada, Philippines, Russia, South Korea, Germany, Singapore, Korean Airways, France, United Kingdom, Taiwan, USA, Maldives, UAE, Australia, Oman, Spain & Sri Lanka 18 Countries marked the highlights of the event.
Concurrently, Two High Level Conference were held, AEDEX Conference Theme: India’s Aerospace & Defence Ecosystem: Innovation, Indigenisation & Global Leader on Day 1. On the Second day, AIRPORT Conference Theme: Future-Ready Airports: Smart, Sustainable & Passenger-Centric Aviation Ecosystems; These were power packed sessions bringing 50 high level speakers and 514 delegates over 3 days.
A “Buyer Seller Meet” was organised for Industry Requirements and Procurement Opportunities. Programme connecting OEMs, Defence PSUs, Armed Forces, Government Agencies and Private Sector Buyers with MSMEs, Startups and Tier-II/Tier-III suppliers.
Final of the 3 days was an insightful programme – “Reaching for the Stars”: How India’s Space Dreams are Shaping Industry, Innovation & Young India, wherein Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla AC shared his inspiring experience of living and working in space during the programme. He described the awe of viewing Earth from orbit, the challenges of adapting to zero gravity, and the discipline required for daily tasks in space. He spoke about the importance of teamwork, training, and resilience in successfully completing mission responsibilities. The full hall audience including students, listened to him with rapt attention.
The convergence of aerospace, defence and civil aviation is creating a larger industrial opportunity, where technologies developed for one sector can increasingly support another. Artificial intelligence, robotics, autonomous systems, advanced materials, electronics, simulation, digital engineering and cybersecurity are becoming critical across the entire aviation and defence value chain. This convergence is also creating opportunities for partnerships between global companies, Indian manufacturers, start-ups, MSMEs, research institutions and government organisations.
These events were organised by the Society of Indian Aerospace and Defence Technologies and Industries (SIATI) in association with TAFCON, and supported by the Ministry of Civil Aviation, the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Ministry of MSME, DRDO, and the DGCA.
The expo reaffirmed New Delhi’s standing as a convening point for the region’s aviation and defence sectors.
