India is rapidly emerging as one of the world’s most dynamic innovation hubs, driven by ambitious national programs, accelerating digital transformation, and growing demand for advanced electronics and research capabilities. As industries scale and new technologies take shape, access to high-performance test and validation solutions is becoming increasingly critical.

Against this backdrop, Keysight Technologies is expanding its global manufacturing footprint to include local production in India — bringing high-precision test solutions closer to customers and enabling faster innovation across key sectors including aerospace and defense, government R&D, industry, and academic research institutions.

“India is entering a once-in-a-generation innovation decade,” said Sudhir Tangri, Vice President and General Manager, Asia Pacific at Keysight. “Establishing local manufacturing allows Keysight to better support customers in India while strengthening our global supply chain. Building in India for the world will accelerate technology development across a broad spectrum of industries.”

Supporting India’s Innovation Momentum

India’s electronics manufacturing market is projected to exceed $300 billion by 2026, driven by a surge in domestic production and advanced research initiatives. Programs such as Make in India, Semicon India, and the National Quantum Mission are not only strengthening domestic capabilities but also positioning India as a global technology and manufacturing hub.

By establishing local manufacturing, Keysight is enabling more streamlined access to its solutions while strengthening supply chain resilience and supporting customers operating in increasingly complex and fast-moving environments. Keysight’s local manufacturing initiative is designed to support a wide range of industries that rely on advanced testing and validation to bring new technologies to market, including:

  • Semiconductors: Supporting design validation and production testing as India scales its semiconductor ecosystem
  • Quantum Technologies: Enabling research institutions advancing next-generation computing under the National Quantum Mission
  • Aerospace and Defense: Providing locally manufactured solutions for radar, electronic warfare, and satellite systems
  • AI and Next-Generation Wireless: Accelerating development of 5G, future 6G, and AI-driven infrastructure
  • Research and Academia: Equipping universities and laboratories with cutting-edge tools for scientific discovery

Building in India for the World

By aligning closely with these high-growth sectors, Keysight helps customers navigate increasing complexity while maintaining performance, reliability, and speed.

This expansion also reflects Keysight’s long-term commitment to collaborating with India’s broader innovation ecosystem — including government agencies, research institutions, and leading universities. These collaborations play a key role in accelerating technological development and ensuring that new solutions are aligned with both local and global requirements.

Local production in India not only supports domestic demand but also contributes to a broader global strategy — delivering high-quality, precision-engineered solutions to customers around the world while reinforcing supply chain resilience.
