Oxley designs LED lighting for aircraft, ships and land vehicles, with custom engineering around the light, the installation and the operating environment. Bring your lighting challenge to Astute Group at electronica 2026 and explore what a purpose-designed assembly could make possible.
A helicopter cockpit may need lighting compatible with night-vision equipment. An aircraft exterior light might mark position or illuminate a landing area. On a naval vessel, navigation and deck lights perform different tasks again. Each application asks for a particular combination of output, beam, mounting and power.
Oxley’s optical, mechanical, electrical and software engineering capabilities allow the discussion to move from a lighting requirement towards an assembly designed around the installation.
Its capabilities include complete LED fairing assemblies, integrating the light into a housing shaped for the surrounding structure. That can be relevant where the available space or mounting geometry gives a standard lamp little room to work.
Oxley’s prototyping, manufacturing and test facilities also support work on vibration, temperature, environmental exposure and electromagnetic compatibility. Testing and qualification for a particular project follow the requirements of that platform.
Come and talk to Astute’s experts about your drawing, specification or an installation that has proved difficult to accommodate. We can help you explore the options for matching the lighting to the job.
Oxley is part of the wider range of technology Astute will feature at Messe München, 10–13 November. Visit Hall C5, Stand 421, to discuss your next platform or upgrade. Book a meeting, or bring the challenge to the stand and join us for a coffee.
