India’s expanding data center, grid, energy storage and aerospace markets align closely with Littelfuse global growth priorities
Littelfuse, a diversified, industrial technology manufacturing company shaping solutions for the safe and efficient transfer of electrical energy, will be highlighting its growing focus on India and technologies addressing increasingly complex electrical and electronic infrastructure requirements at electronica India 2026. The company has identified data centers, grid and utility infrastructure, and aerospace and defense among its key high-growth opportunities.
“Across data centers and other mission-critical applications, the industry is moving toward higher power, higher voltage, and increasingly complex electrical architectures,” said Boris Golubovic, Vice President, Systems Engineering and New Technology Ventures, Littelfuse. “Our role is to help customers manage that transition safely, from emerging high-voltage DC data-center architectures to aviation, defense, and space systems where reliability is absolutely critical. That requires us to think beyond individual components and look at protection, power control, and system safety as part of the overall architecture.”
Littelfuse also enters the show following strong global momentum. Second-quarter 2026 net sales reached US$738.8 million, up 20.4% year over year. Electronics sales increased 21.1%, Transportation sales increased 1.7%, and Industrial sales increased 52.5%.
Global Growth Priorities Meet India Market Demand
Littelfuse is expanding its capabilities across electrical protection, power control, sensing, switching, and power semiconductors to support increasingly complex electrical architectures. In India’s expanding data center market, rising AI workloads and higher power densities are increasing requirements for efficient power distribution, circuit protection, thermal management, and system reliability. Higher rack and server power levels are also accelerating the shift toward higher-current 48 VDC architectures, where protection solutions must combine high interrupting capability, compact form factors, and automation-friendly designs.
Investment in grid modernization, renewable generation, and energy storage is placing greater emphasis on electrical protection, sensing, and control as power systems become larger, more distributed, and more complex. Littelfuse has strengthened its capabilities in grid and utility infrastructure, power generation, and data centers through the acquisition of Basler Electric, while continuing to target aerospace and defense and other high-performance applications.
Littelfuse supports these opportunities in India through engineering, R&D, commercial, and manufacturing resources in Noida and Kanpur. The Kanpur operation supports electrical wiring interconnection systems (EWIS) for aviation and defense applications, including production, quality assurance, testing, and logistics, and operates to aerospace quality requirements including AS9100D. Combined with local engineering and application support, these capabilities enable closer collaboration with Indian customers and connect them with Littelfuse global resources and programs.
