ROSEMONT, Ill. —Littelfuse, Inc., an industrial technology manufacturing company empowering a sustainable, connected, and safer world, today introduced the CPC1056N, a compact, high-performance 60 V, 75 mA 1-Form-A solid-state relay (SSR) designed to meet the growing demand for fast, efficient, and space-saving switching solutions in next-generation electronics systems.

Featuring a solid-state design with no moving parts, the CPC1056N delivers silent, maintenance-free operation and avoids EMI/RFI interference. It offers high input-to-output isolation (1500 VRMS) and fast 3 ms switching speeds. It operates with an ultra-low LED trigger current of just 0.5 mA—enabling direct drive by low-power TTL or CMOS logic without additional circuitry.

Housed in a compact 4-pin SOP package, the CPC1056N meets EN50130-4, UL 1577, and EN 62368-1 standards, making it ideal for security, medical, industrial automation, smart meters, and EV charging infrastructure applications.

“With the launch of the CPC1056N, we’re enabling our customers to simplify their designs without compromising performance and enabling the development of efficient, compact, and reliable electronic systems,” said Hugo Guzman, Product Marketing Manager at Littelfuse. “By combining fast switching, ultra-low input current, and robust isolation in a compact package, this solid-state relay addresses key challenges in space-constrained and energy-sensitive applications. It helps engineers reduce complexity, improve energy efficiency, and accelerate time to market across a wide range of industries, including security, industrial automation, and EV infrastructure.”

Features and Benefits

  • 60 V, 75 mA continuous load rating: Suitable for low-voltage signal and control circuits
  • Low LED trigger current (0.5 mA): Allows direct interfacing with TTL/CMOS logic and low-power microcontrollers
  • Fast switching (3 ms ton/toff): Supports fast applications with minimal latency
  • 1500 VRMS input-to-output isolation: Provides basic galvanic isolation for sensitive systems
  • Compact SOP-4 package: Saves valuable board space in dense designs
  • Silent, solid-state operation: No mechanical wear or audible noise; avoids EMI/RFI
  • Compliant with industry standards: Meets EN50130-4 (security), UL 1577, and EN 62368-1 for system safety and EMC

Markets and Applications

  • Security systems: PIR motion detectors, data signaling, sensor control
  • Medical equipment: Patient and equipment isolation, low noise switching
  • Industrial automation: Factory controls, multiplexers, and test equipment
  • EV Charging infrastructure: Signal switching and relay logic in smart chargers in combination with Littelfuse protection solutions
  • Smart utility meters: Control of electricity consumption, water flow, and gas flow
  • Building automation and consumer electronics: Compact, efficient switching in smart appliances and control systems

The CPC1056N expands the Littelfuse portfolio of solid-state relays, complementing existing optically isolated and power SSRs to support customers designing for high reliability, energy efficiency, and compact form factors.

Availability

These solid-state relays are available in quantities of 100 per tube (CPC1056N) or 2,000 per reel (CPC1056NTR). Sample requests are accepted through authorized Littelfuse distributors worldwide. For a listing of Littelfuse distributors, please visit Littelfuse.com.
