Panasonic Industry Europe is pleased to announce that it has been named Best Supplier of the Year for Passive Components by Syndicat Professionnel de la Distribution en Electronique Industrielle (SPDEI). The SPDEI Award is a prestigious French industry award recognizing top suppliers of electronic components, voted on by distributors for excellence in partnership, product innovation, support, and design traceability.
For this award, participating distributors of the association like Arrow, Avnet, Farnell, TTI, and several others, vote for the best suppliers of the year for several Product Technologies. The SPDEI vote is based on distributor feedback across criteria like partnership, product innovation, profitability, resources and support
and design traceability.

SPDEI was founded in 1972 to support the development of the profession in economic, technical, and regulatory fields. Since 2018, it has expanded its scope to include representation in electronics and now represents a group of manufacturers’ representatives (REP). Its 18 members companies spread across seven product families (semiconductors, wireless, display, connectors, electromechanics, cables and accessories, and energy).
Their aim is to represent the industrial electronics distribution sector; to promote and defend franchised distributors and manufacturers’ representatives (REPs) to ensure good conditions for development, to support companies in their procedures and clarify the application of regulations.
