Proximal Cloud and FarmX Announce Partnership to Scale AI for Agriculture

Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on LinkedIn

DELHI, INDIA: Proximal Cloud announced a strategic partnership with FarmX, an AI-native agricultural intelligence company, to support large-scale, production-grade AI deployments across distributed farming operations. Showcased at the AI Impact Summit 2026, the collaboration integrates Proximal Cloud’s enterprise cloud infrastructure with FarmX’s intelligent farming platform to enable real-time, data-driven agriculture at scale.

Despite increasing adoption of agri-tech solutions, large agricultural enterprises continue to face challenges in operationalising AI across fragmented data systems, remote locations, and heterogeneous infrastructure. Critical inputs such as satellite imagery, sensor telemetry, weather data, and operational records often remain siloed, limiting the effectiveness of predictive and automation systems. Proximal Cloud addresses this gap by providing a unified, high-performance infrastructure layer that enables FarmX’s AI models to operate reliably in complex, distributed environments.

The partnership brings together Proximal Cloud’s scalable compute, storage, and networking capabilities with FarmX’s platform for machine learning, satellite analytics, IoT telemetry, automation frameworks, and autonomous electric tractors. This integrated architecture supports continuous data ingestion, model execution, and decision orchestration across large farming estates, helping enterprises improve yield predictability, strengthen operational control, and drive sustainability-aligned outcomes.

Aligned with India’s growing focus on technology-led agriculture and food security, Proximal Cloud is strengthening its presence in AgTech through partnerships that prioritise enterprise readiness, interoperability, and long-term scalability. The collaboration with FarmX reflects this approach, enabling agricultural organisations to move from isolated pilots to system-wide, production deployments.

“Large-scale agriculture is becoming increasingly data-intensive and geographically distributed,” said Mr. Renu Raman, CEO and Founder, Proximal Cloud. “This partnership demonstrates how enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure can support real-world agri-AI systems at scale. Together with FarmX, the focus is on enabling resilient, production-ready platforms that improve decision-making and operational outcomes across complex agricultural ecosystems.”

“Many agri-AI solutions struggle to move beyond limited deployments due to fragmented data and infrastructure constraints,” said Premal Ashar, COO, FarmX. “Working with Proximal Cloud strengthens the foundation for FarmX’s platform, enabling deployments that are more interoperable, reliable, and economically sustainable for large agricultural enterprises.”

During the AI Impact Summit 2026, Proximal Cloud and FarmX showcased reference architectures and live workflows for distributed agricultural operations, demonstrating how cloud infrastructure and intelligent farming systems can operate together across data ingestion, analytics, and automation. The companies will continue to expand their collaboration to support enterprise and institutional deployments in the coming year.
