With the RACM3000-M series, RECOM expands its portfolio of high-power AC/DC power supplies for medical, industrial, and energy applications. Advanced communication functions, support for parallel operation, and extensive safety approvals enable straightforward integration into a wide range of systems.

The RACM3000-M delivers up to 3000W of output power and operates over a wide input voltage range of 90 – 264VAC, with full power available from 180 – 264VAC. In addition, variants of the RDC3000-M series are planned for 400 – 800VDC input, extending the range of possible applications in modern energy and infrastructure systems.

For straightforward system integration, the products feature an integrated CAN bus interface for monitoring and control, a 5V/2A standby output, Remote On/Off, Remote Sense, and a DC-OK signal. For applications with increasing power requirements, active load sharing and optional integrated OR-ing FETs support safe parallel operation of multiple power supplies. A temperature-controlled intelligent fan provides reliable cooling.

The series meets the requirements of UL/IEC 60601 for medical applications, UL/IEC 62368 for industrial and ICT equipment, and IEC 60335-2-29 for charging applications. With 2MOPP isolation, it is suitable for both medical devices and industrial systems with stringent safety and reliability requirements.

With the RACM3000-M series, RECOM further expands its portfolio of high-power AC/DC power supplies. The RACM1200-V series already provides an established platform for compact high-power applications. The RACM3000-M products extend this portfolio with a solution for applications requiring significantly higher power, together with expanded communication and parallel-operation functions.

Typical applications for the RACM3000-M series include battery charging systems, cobots, automated medical analysis and diagnostic systems, machine control, communication infrastructure, energy storage, and data centers.

“Many modern applications require not only higher power, but also much tighter integration of the power supply into the overall system. With the RACM3000-M, we offer developers a platform that combines high output power with intelligent communication and flexible scalability,” says Michael Schrutka, Product Manager at RECOM. Samples and OEM pricing are available from all authorized distributors or directly from RECOM.
