Leading manufacturer of high performance reed relays, Pickering Electronics will showcase its comprehensive range of reed relays for high-end instrumentation, ATE (automatic test equipment), and semiconductor test—including its latest Series 600 customizable high voltage reed relays, offering up to 20kV stand-off across the switch contacts and up to 25kV stand-off switch to coil—on booth #H3.B47 at electronica India 2025, taking place September 17th-19th, at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), Bengaluru, India.

electronica India, founded in 2000, is South Asia’s leading electronics trade fair for electronic components, systems, applications, and solutions. Traditionally alternating yearly between Delhi-NCR and Bengaluru, it will now run annually in both cities from 2026. Together with productronica India, it attracts 45,000+ visitors and 800+ exhibitors from >20 countries, covering the full electronics value chain.

“As the semiconductor and electronics ecosystem in India continues to develop,” commented Robert King, Reed Relays Product Manager at Pickering Electronics, “and Pickering continuously evolves its reed relay offering for instrumentation and ATE, we anticipate interest at electronica India from diverse sectors and applications, from semiconductor test, EV charging and solar cell monitoring to high voltage instrumentation and signal switching in medical electronics.”

The Series 600 range represents a major innovation in high voltage reed relay design. These modular devices are highly adaptable, with options including up to 20 kV stand-off and up to 12.5 kV switching, 200 W power handling, and 1 Form A, 1 Form B, or 1 Form C contact configurations. Additional choices include optional coaxial or electrostatic screens, 5 V, 12 V, and 24 V coils (with custom options available), and optional internal diode or Zener + diode for coil back EMF clamping. Engineers can also specify configurable pin-outs, connection options, coil resistances, package formats, and potting materials, giving semiconductor test engineers and system designers the flexibility to balance size, isolation, and switching speed for their unique applications.

Alongside its Series 600, Pickering will also display its full portfolio of high-performance reed relays, including:

  • High-density switching: relays with a footprint as small as 4mm x 4mm, ideal for semiconductor ATE and mixed-signal test
  • RF reed relays: optimised for 50Ω/75Ω systems with low loss and high repeatability
  • Ultra-low leakage relays: for sub-pA parametric and capacitance-voltage testing
  • Long-life relays: supporting continuous 24/7 operation for millions, or even billions of operations

Pickering Interfaces—the switching division of Pickering Group—will also be present on the booth, showcasing its modular signal switching & simulation solutions for electronic test and verification systems. Together, Pickering Group provides a uniquely broad portfolio of switching and relay technology to support semiconductor, EV, and high-voltage test engineers worldwide. With over 50 years of expertise in reed relay design and manufacturing, Pickering’s relays are trusted worldwide by leading semiconductor, test, and instrumentation companies.
