Bangalore / Wetzikon (ZH) – R&M, the globally active Swiss developer and provider of high-end infrastructure solutions for data and communications networks, has once again received the EcoVadis gold medal for sustainability. The gold medal recognizes high ecological, social and ethical standards. According to EcoVadis, R&M ranks among the top four percent of all companies rated in terms of sustainability in the last twelve months. In the «manufacture of cables and network technologies» industry, R&M ranks in the top three percent of manufacturers evaluated.

CO2 emissions more comprehensively determined
The R&M group is gradually integrating sustainability into all its business areas. The quantities of CO2 emissions and waste can now be determined even more precisely. The comprehensive compliance program and the effective corporate policies to uphold integrity of business practices were rated particularly positively.
The EcoVadis rating is regarded internationally as a benchmark for the progress made by companies in key sustainability issues. The list of criteria covers climate and environmental protection, labor and human rights, procurement, business ethics and the documentation of sustainability measures.
